About
Angela was born and raised in Vancouver, Canada. She has been teaching English Literature, Creative Non-Fiction, AP Literature, AP Psychology and more for the past half-decade. During her studies at UBC for her Bachelor’s in Psychology and Creative Writing, she began offering University consulting and planning services to students already enrolled in her courses. Her students are from some of Vancouver’s best secondary schools, such as St. George’s, West Point Grey Academy, Crofton House, Collingwood and more.
With students accepted into Harvard, Stanford, Princeton, Yale, UPenn, Brown (full-ride scholarship) and more, Angela uses her creativity, firm literature foundation and an understanding of her students to shape her consulting process.
Angela likes to listen and communicate with her students about their dreams and goals – this is what makes the biggest difference. Her planning program allows her to build a strong connection with each of her students – ensuring that they trust her and her decisions. Her students have attended prestigious Summer programs such as Stanford Humanities Summer Program (SSHI), Yale Young Global Scholars (YYGS), Brown Pre-College and more.
Angela believes that authenticity is the most valuable thing for any individual to have. She believes in the intentional pursuit of one’s passion. She strongly encourages her students to be down-to-earth, well-rounded, and great critical thinkers.
In her free time, Angela is a professional Makeup Artist specializing in celebrity, fashion, and editorial work. She has worked with clients in New York, LA, London, Milan, Paris and of course, her hometown, Vancouver.
